We had a lovely Christmas - spent the first few days with my family, and then drove to Kansas City to visit the husband’s family (more on that drive in another post - or, the drive home, should I say!!)

It was such a special Christmas, as it was the first one for our little family of three. I spent so much time just cuddling with Matilda while we watched the lights on the tree - she was enchanted by them, just as I still am every single year. I think Christmas is one of my favorite holidays because we get to spend so much time with our families, just loving on each other. Matilda got so many fun toys (as did I!) and even figured out how to rip the paper off of the gifts - granted, most of the time (wait, who am I kidding?? ALL THE TIME) the paper went right into her mouth! It was so much fun to watch her figure it all out!

She is the sweetest, funniest, most cuddly little baby girl I have ever been around, and I am so happy that she is mine (and that I can cuddle her anytime I want!)

ps. look at my new toy I got!!! a brand new macbook air. I’m in love!
