Dear Matilda,
We just entered the state of Kentucky… This is your very first time to leave the state you were born in. I hope this very first road trip is the first of many in your life… I hope your daddy and I instill a love for travel and adventure in you, and that you will discover many amazing places in your lifetime.
I love you darling girl, Mummy

I love you more than life itself. Especially when you play so hard that you fall asleep for your nap right in the middle of the floor.
xoxo,
mummy
It’s Christmas at the Arnold home. Super excited to be decorating today {as is Matilda!}
I could listen to this little laugh ALL.DAY.LONG!
{please ignore my ridiculousness - this was her first little belly laughs!!!}
I cannot believe that it has already been 3 months with our dear little girl. Jon and I couldn’t have picked a more perfect baby for us - she is laid back and loves going places and being out and about. She will sleep through most anything, and loves smiling at and just recently, talking to people.
She is currently around 14lbs, and is growing SO FAST!!! I love that she is growing up, and becoming more alert, and developing more and more, but I can’t believe that she is the same little baby that we brought home from the hospital just 3 short months ago. She is holding her head up so well, but still hates tummy time (unless she is sleeping!). We think we may introduce food to her at 4 months, because she already eats so much. We had some extra butternut squash left over from our CSA box, so we roasted and pureed it and froze it for her. Hopefully, she will enjoy her first yummy meal!
I’ve recently started working again - part time at Anthropologie, doing some freelance marketing and planning a craft fair with a good friend. All of these, plus Matilda has kept me quite busy (so busy, i’ve slacked off at housework and cooking! sorry Jon!).
Enough of that… here are some pictures from Matilda’s first 3 months.

PATTERN TOASTIES BABY BOOTIES 3 SIZES VERY by AbsoluteKnits
Going to try to make these little adorable shoes for Matilda! Let’s see if I remember how to knit!
Matilda’s newest favorite… Feeling the need to constantly be upright. Unfortunately, she can’t do it by herself. It’s fun to find new items to keep her propped up. Today… Our bed, nursing pillow and Gilmore Girls on TV. It keeps her looking straight ahead so she doesn’t wobble as much. This might be the winning combination!
Picnic with Sam and Katie!
Happy dreams!
